    This collection comprises 202 World War II–era psychological warfare leaflets produced and disseminated in the Pacific Theater. The materials include both illustrated small-format leaflets and large newspaper-style sheets, many of which were prepared or translated by U.S. intelligence agencies for psychological operations.

    Compact designs featuring hand-drawn illustrations, comics, and persuasive slogans.

    Newspaper-Style (approx. A4)
    Large-format sheets imitating newspapers—text-rich, narrative in tone, and intended for extended reading.
    41 leaflets.

    Provenance

    Includes original U.S. “Confidential” translation sheets prepared by the Office of War Information (OWI) and U.S. Military Intelligence, offering English renderings and analytical notes for propaganda use and distribution strategy.

    Condition

    Overall condition ranges from Excellent to Fair, reflecting light handling and age-related wear consistent with wartime use and storage.
