Salvaged from film aficionado Guddu’s archive, its bold brushwork and vivid palette capture the melodrama of mistaken class identities and gender politics. Beloved for its humor and songs, the film became one of 1970s Punjabi cinema’s biggest hits, and this print epitomizes the era’s exaggerated visual storytelling.
