1888 Millat-e-Israeliye [Nation of Israel]

First edition of the rare antisemitic manuscript "Millat-e-Israiliye [Nation of Israel]," published in the Ottoman Empire. Its author, journalist and writer Ebuzziya Tevfik, examines Jewish morality and historical exile, while proposing a "solution" to the "Jewish question." Tevfik, a prominent figure in publishing and editing, eventually became a member of the Ottoman Parliament in 1908.
