TOSHAKHANA is Khajistan's Special Collections, dedicated to rescuing rare periodicals, manuscripts, books, and ephemera from the Islamic world. We digitize these materials to ensure their accessibility through the forthcoming Khajistan Reader. After digitization, the physical items require professional care. We seek partners with archival expertise to safeguard Khajistan's curated treasures by professionally preserving and storing the last pieces of our obscure histories. Current partners include the Kislak Center at the University of Pennsylvania, and the libraries of Princeton and Stanford. All listed TOSHAKHANA materials are stored and shipped from Brooklyn, NY. For acquisition inquiries, please contact info@khajistan.com.
