14 Issues of The Herald — Pakistan’s Political Monthly (1970s–2000s, Karachi, English)
The Herald was Pakistan’s leading English-language current affairs monthly, published in Karachi by the Dawn Group. Running from 1970 to 2001, it offered sharp reporting on military regimes, civilian power struggles, censorship, and social shifts. A staple of upper-middle-class drawing rooms and liberal institutions, The Herald blended investigative journalism with bold design, creating a paper trail of political memory, elite critique, and the inner workings of a fragile republic.
