Tehzeeb-e-Niswan, an Urdu magazine edited by Sayyid Mumtaz Ali and Muhammadi Begum, ran from 1898 to 1949, providing a record of the social and cultural milieu of Muslim women in South Asia at the turn of the twentieth century.
