This reproduction preserves a satirical 1970s cartoon from Behlol magazine, mocking Cold War meddling in Iran’s economy. Rendered in bold watercolor caricature, Uncle Sam (left) and a Soviet commissar (right) grin as they point toward a stylized bazaar (“بازار”) gateway.
