Fahashi (فحاشی) is an Urdu word for “vulgarity” or “indecency.” It comes from Persian and the Arabic word fāḥishah (فاحشة), which means lewd or obscene behavior. In Urdu, adding –ī turns it into “the act of being lewd.”
