Original U.S. Psychological Operations Leaflet AFD62b, Operation Enduring Freedom, Afghanistan, 2001–2002
Original double-sided U.S. psychological operations leaflet produced during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Printed in Dari and Pashto, the leaflet warns Taliban fighters that their movements are being tracked and urges them to stop fighting in order to survive.

Provenance: Airdropped leaflet acquired from the family of a U.S. military commander.
Translation:
Front: “Taliban: We know where you are.”
Back: “Stop fighting for the Taliban and you will stay alive.”
Imagery: Front shows Coalition vehicles and a parachute-delivered supply container, paired with an image of Taliban fighters riding in a truck through mountainous terrain. Back shows a Taliban vehicle destroyed in flames and Taliban fighters walking away from the battlefield, presenting abandonment of the fight as the route to survival.
Objective: To intimidate Taliban fighters by stating that Coalition forces know their location, while encouraging them to stop fighting and leave Taliban forces in order to live.
Condition: Very good condition. Original example with clean, bright color printing, light handling wear, and minor surface marks. Text and imagery remain clearly legible.
