Original single-sided Iraqi propaganda leaflet produced during the Gulf War. Printed in English for Coalition soldiers, the leaflet shows a U.S. military transport aircraft unloading rows of coffins and warns that ground combat losses will not be minimal.

    Conflict / War: Gulf War
    Year: 1990–1991
    Country / Theater: Iraq
    Language(s): English
Format: Original printed leaflet, single-sided, blank reverse
Provenance: Acquired from an Iraqi antiquarian dealer specializing in Gulf War-era military ephemera and printed material.

    Translation:
Front: “Dear soldiers: Your commanders have said that the war will take few days. Were they correct? And convinced you that loses will be minimum in the ground combat, we assure that they won’t be correct.”

    Back: Blank reverse.

Imagery: Front shows a U.S. transport aircraft marked “USA” unloading long rows of coffins. The image is printed above an English message addressed to Coalition soldiers, using the threat of mass casualties to undermine confidence before ground combat.

Objective: To discourage Coalition soldiers by suggesting that their commanders have misled them about the duration and human cost of the war, and that ground combat will produce heavy losses.

Condition: Very good condition. Original field example with light creasing, minor edge wear, and faint toning. Printed image and English text remain clean and clearly legible. Blank reverse shows minor handling wear.
