A reproduction of hand-drawn horror poster for Zinda Laash, Pakistan’s cult vampire film directed by Khwaja Sarfraz. The artwork mirrors classic Western horror aesthetics with a stark monochrome palette, exaggerated expressions, and shadowy gothic scenery. Marketed as “The chill horror of a deadman yet living!”, the poster captures the lurid drama of the film, which was based on Dracula and banned shortly after release. The Urdu, Bengali, and English typography hints at the film’s cross-regional circulation and legacy as Pakistan’s first "X-rated" horror film.

Exhibited in “Spasial Program” at SculptureCenter, New York, June 19 – July 28, 2025.

Availability: Free pick-up and U.S. shipping. International rates apply.
