Original double-sided U.S. psychological operations leaflet produced during Operation Desert Storm. Printed in Arabic, the leaflet warns Iraqi soldiers of continued Coalition bombing and urges them to abandon their position in order to survive.

    Leaflet Number: N/A
    Operation: Operation Desert Storm
    Conflict / War: Gulf War
    Year: 1991
Country / Theater: Iraq and Kuwait Theater
    Language(s): Arabic
Format: Original printed leaflet, double-sided, red ink on paper
Provenance: Acquired from the personal materials of an unnamed U.S. military servicemember.

    Translation:
Front: “Flee and save your life, or remain and meet your death.”

Back: “You have suffered heavy losses because we have used the most powerful and destructive conventional bomb of this war. It is more powerful than twenty Scud missiles in explosive force. Beware. We shall bomb your position again. Kuwait will be liberated from Saddam’s aggression. Hurry and join your brothers in the south. We shall treat you with all love and respect. Abandon this position. You will never be safe.”

Imagery: One side shows the outline of a large aerial bomb printed in red, with Arabic text placed inside the bomb shape. The reverse contains a full Arabic warning message within a red border, emphasizing repeated bombing, overwhelming Coalition firepower, and the impossibility of safety if Iraqi soldiers remain in position.

Objective: To pressure Iraqi soldiers to abandon their positions before renewed Coalition bombing by emphasizing the destructive power of the BLU-82 “Daisy Cutter,” warning of another attack, and offering survival through flight or surrender.

Condition: Good condition. Original field example with visible creasing, light staining, minor toning, and handling wear. Edges and corners remain substantially intact, with Arabic text and bomb graphic clearly legible.
