Original double-sided U.S. psychological operations leaflet produced during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Printed in Arabic, the leaflet warns that Coalition air and ground forces can strike at any time and in any place, while the reverse links al-Qaeda and Ansar al-Sunna under the charge of takfirism.

    Leaflet Number: IZEIB01zaaLF3002
    Operation: Operation Iraqi Freedom
    Conflict and War: Iraq War
    Year: c. 2003 to 2006
    Country and Theater: Iraq
    Language(s): Arabic
Format: Original printed leaflet, double-sided, color
Provenance: Airdropped leaflet acquired from the family of a U.S. military commander.

    Translation:
Front: “Coalition aircraft and ground forces can strike and will strike at any time, in any place.”

Back: “Al-Qaeda rules through the victory of the Sunnis. Together, they are takfiris.”

Imagery: Front shows Coalition military force, including helicopters, a tank, and ground vehicles, paired with Arabic text emphasizing the reach and immediacy of Coalition attack capabilities. Back shows a robed figure labeled al-Qaeda holding a scale, weighing a skull labeled Ansar al-Sunna, with the concluding Arabic statement that both are takfiris.

Objective: To intimidate insurgent forces by emphasizing Coalition strike capability, while also discrediting al-Qaeda and Ansar al-Sunna by framing them as extremist takfiri actors harmful to Iraq.

Condition: Very good condition. Original example with clean color printing, light handling wear, minor creasing, and faint surface marks. Text and imagery remain clearly legible.
