    Provenance: Hand distributed leaflet acquired from the family of a U.S. military commander.

    Translation:
    Front: “One team, one mission: security for Iraqi families.”
    Back: “Help the Iraqi Security Forces protect your families by reporting illegal activities.”

    Imagery:
    The front shows two Iraqi boys giving a peace sign, with emblems for the Iraqi Police and Iraqi Security Forces placed above them. The reverse shows a map of Iraq filled with the Iraqi flag and overlaid with a message calling on civilians to assist Iraqi Security Forces.

    Objective:
    To encourage Iraqi civilians to cooperate with Iraqi Security Forces by reporting illegal armed activity, while presenting Iraqi police and security institutions as protectors of families and public order.
