    Original double-sided U.S. psychological operations leaflet produced during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Printed in Arabic, the leaflet urges Iraqi soldiers not to risk their own lives or the lives of their comrades, and appeals to family, children, home, and survival.

    Provenance: Surplus copy retained outside field distribution. Acquired from the personal materials of an unnamed U.S. military servicemember. Never airdropped or field-distributed.

    Translation:
    Front: “Do not risk your lives and the lives of your comrades.”

    Back: “Leave now and return home. Care for your children, and look after their upbringing, education, and success.”

    Imagery: Front shows an Iraqi soldier seated at left, a dead or wounded figure in the center, and soldiers at right, using death and battlefield loss to warn against continued fighting. Back shows a family and children behind Arabic text urging soldiers to leave and return home.

    Objective: To persuade Iraqi soldiers to abandon the fight by contrasting the risk of death with the responsibility to return home, protect their families, and raise their children.

    Condition: Very good condition. Original example with clean black-and-white printing, light handling wear, minor creasing, and faint surface marks. Text and imagery remain clearly legible.
