    Original double-sided U.S. psychological operations leaflet produced during Operation Desert Storm. Printed in Arabic, the leaflet warns Iraqi soldiers that their military equipment and position are targeted for bombardment, urging them to abandon the site and save themselves.

    Provenance: Airdropped leaflet acquired from the family of a U.S. military commander.

    Translation:
    Front: “Your equipment is subject to bombardment!”
    Back: “Warning! This location will be bombed. Leave your equipment and save yourselves.”

    Imagery:
    The front shows Iraqi military vehicles and equipment being destroyed under aerial attack, with aircraft overhead and soldiers fleeing the scene. The reverse is printed as a bomb-shaped warning graphic, turning the leaflet itself into a visual threat of imminent bombardment.

    Objective:
    To compel Iraqi soldiers to abandon military equipment and leave targeted positions before coalition bombardment. The leaflet uses direct warning language and images of destroyed armor to make survival dependent on immediate withdrawal from the site.
