Original U.S. Psychological Operations Leaflet IZD-069, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Iraq, 2003
Original double-sided U.S. psychological operations safe conduct leaflet produced during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Printed in Arabic, the leaflet instructs Iraqi soldiers how to avoid destruction by following Coalition guidelines, leaving their equipment, and moving away from military positions.

Provenance: Surplus copy retained outside field distribution. Acquired from the personal materials of an unnamed U.S. military servicemember. Never airdropped or field-distributed.
Translation:
Front: “To avoid destruction, follow Coalition guidelines.”
Back: “For your safety, follow Coalition instructions. Stop your tanks in square formations, no larger than battalion size. Invite Coalition forces and air-defense positions to place themselves on the ground. Raise white flags above your tanks. Abandon portable air-defense equipment and leave it as far from danger as possible. Soldiers must gather in groups at least one kilometer away from their vehicles. Officers may keep their personal weapons, but all others must disarm themselves. Do not approach Coalition forces. Wait for additional instructions.”
Imagery: Front shows Iraqi armored vehicles positioned in formation, white flags displayed, and soldiers gathered at a distance marked “one kilometer.” Back contains detailed Arabic safe conduct instructions inside a blue decorative border.
Objective: To instruct Iraqi soldiers how to avoid being targeted by Coalition forces by abandoning armored vehicles and weapons, displaying white flags, distancing themselves from equipment, and waiting for further instructions.
Condition: Very good condition. Original example with clean blue printing, light handling wear, and minor surface marks. Text and imagery remain clearly legible.
