Original Iraqi Propaganda Leaflet 102, Operation Desert Storm, Iraq, 1991
Original single-sided Iraqi propaganda leaflet produced during the Gulf War. Printed in English for Coalition soldiers, the leaflet uses the Statue of Liberty, dead civilians, and a direct accusation of aggression to condemn Coalition military action in Iraq.

Conflict / War: Gulf War
Year: 1990–1991
Country / Theater: Iraq and Kuwait Theater
Language(s): English
Format: Original printed leaflet, single-sided, blank reverse

Imagery: Front shows the Statue of Liberty standing over dead Iraqi civilians, including children, with a road sign marked “Iraq” in the background. A circular inset shows a weeping face beneath the Statue of Liberty’s crown. The image uses American national symbolism to accuse Coalition forces of civilian deaths.
