Lip to Lip Shower Curtain (Limited Edition)
A striking shower curtain printed with a repeating image of two Lollywood actresses in a moment of forbidden intimacy, lifted from a now-obscure Lollywood film still. This piece reclaims and recirculates suppressed expressions of queer desire from the archives of Pakistani cinema, where such imagery was once edited, erased, or relegated to the margins.
Part of Khajistan’s broader effort to digitize and exhibit subversive ephemera from the Greater Middle East, the image pattern becomes both wallpaper and protest, a looping kiss frozen in cinematic time, now blown up to cover the most private spaces of our homes.
