Afghan Anti-Communist Propaganda Poster (1980s) — Metal Panel
Metal Art of a poster of Afghan anti-communist propaganda published by the Ittehad-e Islami (Islamic Union of Afghanistan) in the 1980s. The image shows a Soviet hand setting Afghan wheat fields ablaze, symbolizing communism’s destruction of rural life, agriculture, and national prosperity. Used during the Soviet–Afghan War to mobilize resistance and frame the USSR as an enemy of faith, land, and livelihood.
