This vintage Punjabi-language poster for Alladin Da Chiragh visualizes a mythic world of jinns and magic with bold linework and dramatic flourishes. A genie rises from a smoking lamp, rendered in sketch-like red ink on aged paper. The film was supposed to be directed by M. Akram and starring Zarif but never got made due to financial issues.

Exhibited in “Spasial Program” at SculptureCenter, New York, June 18 –July 28, 2025.
