An original 1997 Pashto horror-thriller poster for Da Khwar Lasme Spogmay (Cat Beast), a surreal low-budget film directed by pioneering filmmaker and Pashto film actress, Shahnaz Begam. The poster blends VHS-era horror camp with outsider art featuring Shahnaz in a cat suit, a disembodied feline head, and a blood-red cityscape. This poster preserves a fleeting subculture of frontier horror cinema, where gender, fear, and costume merged into something stranger than fiction.
