A print of 1998 poster for the Pashto horror-action film Lor Da Bala, directed by Darwiash and starring Badar Munir and Nemat Sarhadi. The poster fuses horror and erotica with pulp action aesthetics: a snarling monster bleeds from the face, surrounded by bruised heroes, and suggestive glamour shots. Designed during the late 90s, the poster captures the hybrid storytelling of Pashto horror cinema where the supernatural collides with revenge plots, dance sequences, and raw frontier masculinity. Read the review of this film in our publication Loose Cannons and Dangerous Curves by Omar Ali Khan.
Exhibited in “Spasial Program” at SculptureCenter, New York, June 18 –July 28, 2025.
Availability: Free pickup on July 29, or worldwide shipping (price excludes shipping).
