A tender moment from the 1973 Iranian romance film Resurrection of Love, this still shows the male lead cradling his partner as she reclines on an ornate Persian carpet. Her pastel chiffon gown and his traditional cap and vest capture the film’s blend of modern intimacy and cultural tradition. Revered as a landmark of pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema, Resurrection of Love explores themes of redemption, devotion, and social change.
