A close-up photograph of a sheep with pink dye markings, commonly used in livestock markets ahead of Eid al-Adha. Blurred and intimate, the image captures both the tenderness and disposability of animals during the qurbani ritual. The bright pink splotches, often made with industrial spray, turn bodies into symbols of sacrifice and trade; sacred, commodified.
